The BSN program of nursing complements the Caribbean medical school and helps meet the local, regional, and global need for highly trained, compassionate nurses. In addition to alleviating a critical nursing shortage, graduates of Xavier's BSN program are also able to use their education to achieve leadership roles in providing and improving healthcare through effective communication.
The BSN program integrates a minimum of 58 semester hours of liberal arts educational programming that includes natural sciences and mathematics, communications, socio-behavioral science, and humanities.
