A fully online, part-time degree offered by the No. 1 school of public health in the country. The Master of Arts in Public Health Biology was launched as a fully online degree program in 2017. This program offered by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health allows students to advance in current research or teaching positions, enhance credentials for a new position in academic institutions, industry or governmental research organizations, or gain a solid foundation for advanced graduate work. This program is best suited for students who have had some professional work experience and are looking for a program that would allow them to develop professionally or prepare for a subsequent degree.

Positive Health Psychology integrates your core professional education in psychology with a focus on this dynamic and growing field, which explores human well-being and the factors that contribute to it. Positive Health Psychology investigates people who are physically and mentally healthy despite the presence of otherwise harmful physical, social, or environmental conditions. Offered jointly by the School of Community & Global Health and the Division of Behavioral & Organizational Sciences, this unique program explores the relationship of optimism and physical health, positive health behaviors, and the role social support and relationships play in maximizing health and well-being. You’ll gain a unique combination of insights applicable to a wide range of professional options, including managed care, mental health, and such federal agencies as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH). PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS Positive psychologists who are also competent in epidemiological and public health principles are well positioned for careers at managed care organizations, mental health departments, and federal agencies. The proximity to local health departments in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Riverside counties provides many employment and educational opportunities for students. All students in the Division of Behavioral & Organizational Sciences who request financial aid receive some amount. DBOS also regularly hires students for paid teaching assistantships.

MTSU's combined M.A and Ed.S. program in School Psychology is field-based with a research-based thesis required. The National Association of School Psychologists first approved the program in 1991, and graduates are eligible for national certification until the next review cycle in approximately 2020. The program also seeks to prepare Ed.S.-level school psychologists for licensure by the Tennessee Board of Education.

As a student in Ursuline's flexible, online Integrative Wellness Studies master's program, you’ll learn from faculty members and practitioners across various disciplines —which will prepare you to work as part a diverse team of wellness professionals. You’ll also learn to take a holistic approach to your work, considering all aspects that may affect an individual’s personal health and wellness.

This Medical Assistant program is an evening program taught over three (3) semesters. It will prepare students for entry-level positions in ambulatory health care settings, such as physician offices and outpatient clinics.

The Master of Arts in Health and Wellness Coaching prepares students with advanced skills and expertise to help clients clarify and implement health and wellness goals and sustain life-changing behaviours.

Trinity’s Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program offers rigorous academic and professional training in counseling, combining theory, empirical research, and practical experience. The program deeply considers what it means to be human by emphasizing our embodied experiences, our relational needs, and our longing for healing and reconciliation. Grounded in a Christian perspective, we train counselors to consider all elements of their own humanity as they encounter both resilience and suffering in their clinical work. The program welcomes students of all faith traditions and emphasizes the formation of the whole person in the training of each student answering God’s call to bring healing and restoration. The Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program is a part of the Counseling and Psychology Department. The Counselor Education faculty are responsible for the preparation of students in this program. Trinity is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission.

Master of Arts in Psychology (MA) Emphasis in School Counseling with a Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential Mission Statement The School Counseling program’s primary goal is to train capable, self-reliant students to become caring, effective, and highly-skilled school counselors. The program prepares students to address the three (3) domains of school counseling: social/emotional, academic, and college/career. Through a systems lens, School Counseling students gain fundamental expertise in understanding how these domains are interrelated and impact the various stakeholders in a school setting.

Master of Arts in Psychology (MA) Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy Mission Statement The mission of the Masters of Arts in Psychology, Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy program at Phillips Graduate University, is to create an educational experience that fosters collaborative learning and provides students with the academic knowledge, clinical competency, and professional development necessary for beginning practice as a marriage and family therapists within a multicultural environment. Students who complete the program are responsive to the many aspects of diversity that exist within human relationships. They demonstrate self-awareness, a commitment to ethical practice, and relational responsibility in service to individuals, couples, and families, to their communities, and to the profession of marriage and family therapy. Students who complete the program will have met the educational requirements for MFT licensure in California.

Immaculata’s 60-credit Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) and is also in alignment with the requirements for the State of Pennsylvania’s professional counselor licensure (LPC). Upon program completion, successful students will demonstrate the professional knowledge, skills, and practices necessary to address a wide variety of circumstances within the clinical mental health counseling community.
