PhDs in Norway 2022

PhD degrees are some of the most prestigious qualifications offered by institutions of higher education. Those who hold a PhD earn the right to be addressed with the title "Doctor" and are acknowledged as experts in a certain subject area.

Students who pursue a Master generally spend one to two years in the enhanced study of their chosen field. This program is taken after receiving a bachelor’s degree, and available areas of study include science, law, technology, finance, social sciences and the arts.

Norway (Norge) is the westernmost, northernmost — and in fact the easternmost — of the three Scandinavian countries. Norway is well known for its amazing and varied scenery.
