Ideal Students
PROFILE OF NEW STUDENTS
To define the ideal profile of new students who wish to be accepted onto this degree, we consider the final educational objectives that we aim to achieve, in three aspects:
- Students. They must have intellectual and social inquisitiveness, as well as solid scientific training. In terms of attitude, they must be willing to work and make an effort individually and as part of a team. As such, in the selection process, we particularly focus on the interaction and communication skills of candidates. Furthermore, it is important that students are able to understand that the subjects are not compartmentalized, but rather form part of an overall plan or system of knowledge.
- Future professionals. At the end of this degree program, students should be future professionals with the appropriate knowledge, skills, attitudes and competencies and they should be able to help society by meeting its healthcare needs regarding prevention, diagnosis and treatment in an ethical, efficient and safe manner.
- Training. With the aim of the future integration of the student into working life, this degree is the result of comprehensive training. This means that, in addition to having theory-based and systematic components, it is also practical and engaging, while also enhancing communication skills as another training tool. Furthermore, we also foster in our students the ability to learn autonomously as another important tool in professional development and responsibility. All of that is undertaken with the collaboration of prestigious professors with extensive experience and using the best material resources available. As for the high school diploma taken by students, an option in which specific health science subjects have been completed is desirable.
