Introduction

Your training, guarantee of the future

Our objective is to ensure that students achieve their professional goals, so special importance is given to personal treatment with the student, individualized monitoring of their academic trajectory is carried out and the support and guidance they need is provided.

CEF activities cover the interests and training needs of:

  • graduate and management students.
  • people who wish to join private companies as true specialists, without experience in the world of work.
  • people who want to consolidate and improve their knowledge and skills for the job.
  • those who seek to be part of the Administration.

In addition, the CEF offers comprehensive training and advisory services to companies both for tailor-made training of their staff and for the selection of their professionals, through its Job Bank and the Department of Business Orientation and Training.

CEF's strategy is based on four fundamental pillars:

  • elaboration of a unique theoretical and practical material that is constantly updating itself.
  • access to own publications with professional content (magazines, books, documentary databases).
  • creation of new specialized courses, supervised by a staff of professors and experts in each subject.
  • application of new pedagogical systems, which highlights the implementation of a Tele-Training Platform (CEF Campus) in which students will find multiple services added to their training.

Institutional Relations

The CEF maintains institutional relations with different public and private institutions, among which the following should be highlighted:

  • Complutense University of Madrid
  • Polytechnic University of Madrid
  • University of Alcalá
  • Advocacy Council
  • Registry of Economists and Tax Advisors (REAF)
  • Spanish Association of Tax Advisors (AEAF)
  • Spanish Association of Business Schools (AEEN)
  • Council of Business Owners, Council of Social Graduates
  • Administrative Managers
  • Youth Institute
  • Women's Institute

Oppositions

We can affirm that a large part of the senior officials who currently occupy the most responsible positions in Spain have passed through the classrooms of the CEF.- and have been trained with our Method.

  • Time dedicated to face-to-face classes: In each phase of the opposition, the necessary hours of face-to-face classes will be indicated, which may vary depending on the time of preparation, in order to achieve the best results for the students. This variation, in some cases, may affect the initially chosen days of attendance and even schedules.
  • Virtual campus: A fast and agile means of communication through which information on the opposition, the preparation group, the course planning and documentation is received. You can also make inquiries, receive tutorials.
  • Preparation systems: Students can choose between our methodology 100% adapted to online learning, attend face-to-face classes in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia or prepare the opposition in a tele-face-to-face mode.
  • Volume of students: We have approximately 5,500 students preparing exams but, for us, they are Laura, Víctor, Carlos, Olga, Javier, María, Sara.
  • Team: All our trainers have been opponents, a guarantee of a great knowledge of the subjects and the exercises of the opposition they prepare.
  • Agenda: Our Technical Publishing House is in charge of developing the agendas and their subsequent updating, adapting to regulatory and program changes.
  • Methodology: One of our secrets is that we adapt the methodology to each type of exercise.
  • Drills: Periodically, simulation tests of the exercises to be passed are carried out, with the consequent feedback from the trainers.

Campus Features

The teaching systems we use at the CEF are four: face-to-face training, which we provide in our own centers in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia and Santo Domingo, tele-face-to-face training, blended training and online training. In all systems we make the most of the use of new technologies, giving students access to our Virtual Campus so that they can easily access all available resources: forums, syllabi and study manuals, academic progress and much more.

On-site

  • Presentation of the topic. Experts in the field and with extensive experience in the sector address the contents of the program.
  • Resolution of practical cases, which help to understand reality. The only way to know how to respond to problems is to face them.
  • Public exhibition. Students learn to defend an idea in public.
  • Debates and colloquiums. Student participation is enhanced in classes.
  • New technologies. The most modern at the service of pedagogy.
  • In-person final exam. In the case of masters.
  • Real cases. Reflection and learning about examples of business success and failure.
  • Continuous evaluation activities, which allow the student to know their evolution at all times and from the beginning of the course/master's degree to obtain maximum performance.
  • Final course/master's project. In which everything learned during the program is demonstrated.
  • Rigor and commitment. In addition to having a very high level of self-demand, we require the commitment of the students. To pass our masters and courses, the student must attend 90% of the sessions, carry out the activities and participate in the work groups and classrooms.

On-line

At the CEF - we are very clear that distance should not be a problem for learning, and that is why we have always been pioneers in the use of new technologies applied to training that guarantee correct assimilation of concepts.

We have a virtual Campus in which the teacher publishes a schedule of the activities that must be carried out, so that the student knows what they have to do each week.

  • We have telephone or virtual tutoring through forums or email.
  • Our materials are specifically designed by our Technical Editorial for online learning. Apart from this adapted material, we use audiovisual resources and complementary material of all kinds, which allows us to make the most of the training experience.
  • Videos are sent that facilitate knowledge of the most complicated issues and motivate learning.
  • To calculate the number of hours for monitoring the training action, the number of hours of face-to-face classes must be multiplied by 2.5.

Blended

Some of our programs are developed following this methodology, which allows us to combine the flexibility of online training with face-to-face contact with classmates and teachers. This is a perfect balance for those who do not want to give up being present, but do not have time to go to class every week due to their professional obligations.

Telepresence

  • Live classes. In these classes the teacher interacts with the student, who can ask questions and participate as if it were a face-to-face class.
  • The classroom is now virtual. When starting the course, the student will receive access codes to our virtual Campus. Here you will have at your disposal all the course materials in PDF, explanatory sessions, a chat or forums where you can interact with teachers and classmates or the activities you carry out throughout the course.
  • Specialized teaching team. All CEF teachers are familiar with and specialized in online training, since we were pioneers in this educational modality and we have been evolving our methodology over the years.
